We are all about showing a little flare here at Fashion Frequency. We love bold flowing shapes that flatter our figure, I mean, who doesn’t right? Which is why we’ve been rocking flared trousers and bell bottoms all summer long. Not only that but they’re super comfortable to wear!

Flared trousers can be a little intimidating to style only because they’re so loud and are so attention grabbing. But there are so many ways to style a pair of bell bottoms, whether you’re craving the attention or not. A pair of flared trousers are so versatile that you could also keep it simple and throw on a t-shirt with it. But, you guys know we’re not shy when it comes to fashion so we thought we’d pair these geometric trousers with a contrasting floral bustier. Some would keep floral accents away from designs with sharp lines as they usually clash, but here at fashion frequency we love the contrast.

I love a dress for all occasions. Like world famous little black dress also known as the ‘LBD’ made famous by Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Those two icons prove that women are dynamic individuals and their wardrobes should reflect that.

Which is why I love this red and black sheath dress. The color blocking of the garment really bring out the hourglass shape of the dress, which is always so flattering to the female shape. And the length and look makes it office appropriate but also the perfect cocktail dress for after hours. I love a dress that you can dress up and dress down but also easily blurs the lines between work and play.

The thing about summer is that the days are longer. Which means there’s more time in the day to play and warmer nights to stay out later. So it’s important to have pieces in your closer ready for anything.

Summer dressing can be very casual but there are tricks that you can use to dress them up when needed. The one rule I always go by when I want to dress up something casual is to accessorize, accessorize, accessorize! Throw on a pair of heels and some statement pieces for that formal wow factor. And when you need to dress down for some after work drinks, I always try to add a bit of texture and patterns in my look. Maybe by throwing on a belt, which always gives a flattering hourglass figure to a summer dress. Or maybe even throw on a pair of sneakers for comfort. It’s all about finding a good balance for the occasion.

Another tip that goes a long way when you’re stuck in-between looks, always go for minimal make up and simple done up hair to keep looking fresh faced and ready to take on anything.
