Influenced by the renaissance era; Think Marie Antoinette, the shape of the dress is very elongated and it creates an elaborate look. Today we will use the look but a little less elaborate than the original of course.

Today one the trends is the balloon shirt sleeve look and a slim fitting in torso which gives you slimmer look and feel. I mentioned on the previous post that a monochrome base is better usual pairing with the bold and trendy color blocking accessories ; this makes the pattern pop I am wearing a top that can be as a dress as well, I paired this with the over knee boots elongate the body making legs look longer and slimmer.

Because of this high collar design and style I finished the look with a detachable bow collar to compliment the white shirt. To accessorize the entire look, I added playful colors’. I chose the bright strap hexagonal fun bag. The square or rectangle bag is well suited for this look.

So how will you style your hair for this outfit? I personally prefer a simple ponytail that puts the focus on the beautiful high collar design or you can go big for big wavy hairstyle – It just depends how you fee today 🙂

We all love jeans, but if you are bored with wearing just plain regular jeans but you still want the comfort of denim with a different adventurous and fun overall look then you may want to try this..

I found these denim stiletto boots for a great price ($54.40) while shopping online. These boots look gorgeous with distressed denim and the patch cloud design. Not only are these stylish but also perfect to keep warm in the winter. The combination of long boots with a raw cut on the top off the boots and slit cut on the knees it makes for mix of grunge and glamour that creates a fabulous look and when you add all of this to the great price it makes them even more exiting and absolutely perfect. These boots are a base item for multi use and a fun jeans alternative.

I added the short jeans which have the same raw cut on the bottom to give a harmonious look. . You can also choose different color of denim you wear other outfits as these boots can be the highlight to create versatile looks. Different designs and color that would give you more artistic flavor way and add to your dressing options.

I paired a denim jacket that has a multi distressed design including unique and colorful stitching imbedded (I love this detail). Then you can pick a t-shirt to create a fun and more stylish looks. Winter in Southern California is so mild, you can dress both warm and stylish in a breeze. Let’s start with a long sleeved body-fit knit dress with an over-sized shawl that is as great worn around the neck and, if needed, around the body if it gets too chilly!

Add a pair of warm and chunky footwear like these colorful farm-raised fur boots to finish the outfit fabulously 🙂

Just make sure you balance the outfit from top to bottom. Since it is already complex, keep the accessories simple using similar textures and matching colors. You will look fantastic !
