Get Golden!! Try wearing gold for a more dominate and more daring presence. There are distressed golds or even matte golds that you can piece into your looks. So don’t be afraid to work in different types of gold into your OOTD. It can be that fun and perfect ‘POP’ statement your outfit may need.

Though, its important to note, when incorporating gold and bold pieces, that there are warmer tones and colder tones to play with. Don’t be afraid to mix and match tones. But be sure to match the tone of the gold to blend with the rest of your outfit. There are some golds that are very sleek and shiny and some that are darker and more dull (like vintage antiques accessories). This difference in detail really sets the mood for the rest of your outfit.

Don’t limit yourself to getting that golden look from just one dress or accessory only. Have a mix and match attitude and approach to it by incorporating a range of colors into your look.

For example, a black brocade top layered with a gold shiny bustier and a pleated skirt can elevate your style to something very glamorous and modern but also classic and chic. But if glamour is too much for the occasion this look can easily be dressed down too! In that case, try wearing an understated black matte shoe for something more casual without having to give up that upscale style you’re trying to get. And for a more formal look, you can never go wrong with throwing on a pair of stilettos. There are so many ways to get that regal and golden look. So have fun with it! Don’t be afraid to combine different tones of gold and different material in your outfit to create a more fun and more artistic look.

This time I personally tried to avoid that shiny gold ‘party night’ look. So I picked a purse that blends with the style of the material in the rest of the outfit. The double tweed bag gives it that unique and gorgeous depth that’s sometimes is not easy to achieve in all outfits. I also threw on a huge broach as a statement piece and decided to incorporate not one but two cross body bags for a more hip, unexpected and layered look. Who says you can’t work in more than one bag into your outfit of the day? Especially these days, there is only so much a woman can juggle with two hands; it’ll be easy to fill 2 bags, right?

It’s finally warmer in LA so I’m able to wear this peplum fringe top paired with Jeans. Yes, every spring the stores start filling with cropped pants and all style of denim. This top and jeans will make you look fabulous, chic and casual.

This kind of top makes your waist look a little bigger, so the fitted jeans will help balance the body figure; unless if you have a slim, skinny body which will make any jeans work.

Many options for you on the bottoms, especially when you want to wear jeans. It will look good with any length of jeans such as Capri, cropped or even look pretty with a slim, lean shape. Boot cut and flared jeans will also look fantastic with this top.

Remember that cropped jeans should cover three fourths of your legs and can make your legs look longer and leaner; meanwhile skinny jeans emphasize your curves and look fabulous with high heels.

This fascinating below-the-knee cocktail dress was made by an Indonesian designer. Its fit and flare shape is a perfect blend of a pencil and mermaid maxi-skirt. It was made of mixed materials, with hip cutouts made of soft stretch mesh fabric to show off sexy curves. The eye catching prints are influenced by bold and bright Latin American designs, and a mix of floral and geometric arte de coastal style in vibrant black, white, red, yellow, and green colors.

I match the design and rich colors of the outfit with a pair of catchy platform heel shoes that provide comfort as well as beauty. I also add various red and black accessories to top off the most eye catching colors of the outfit.

The evening clutch purse made of ostrich black genuine feather is the perfect size for the necessities; such as wallet, cell phone, lipstick, powder, and mirror. And to enhance the Latina style I’m showcasing, I wear my hair loose and curly. Simply gorgeous. If you wear this marvelous Latina style cocktail dress to a party, you better be ready to receive compliments on how artfully radiant you look. No joke. 😉
